Colleagues, We recently posted a brief article on tapering on our blog: http://excelsiorsports.blogspot.com/2008/12/tapering.html Several excellent reviews have been published that do a great job of summarizing the evidence on how to strategically unload without detraining. The available evidence on myosin heavy chain responses to loading/unloading also has some interesting implications.I have tried to boil that down into some straightforward guidelines, and would appreciate constructive feedback.
