Dear fellow list members,

For those of you interested in the concept of pacing in sport and exercise, my
colleague Remco Polman and I have recently completed writing a new academic
book on this subject. It addresses historical and evolutionary aspects of
training/performance, mechanistic issues pertinent to regulatory control of
performance, investigates evidence for pacing across various sports/activities
and applies principles of self pacing to practical training applications.

It has only recently been published and is now available via outlets such
Amazon and also on the publisher's website (see below):

Edwards AM, Polman RCJ (2012) Pacing in Sport & Exercise: A Psychophysiological
Perspective, Nova Scientific NY.
