Zafar, el al,

draft-ali-spring-network-slicing-building-blocks-03 has a very comprehensive
description of various components of SR and how they can be put together.

However, I find the draft hasn't touched upon addressing the fundamental
features of Network Slicing.
Maybe the term "network slice" means very different things to different people.

In 3GPP, a Network Slice includes the capabilities to manage, control and
orchestrate the subset of network resources independently from other Network
Slices.

The draft has a very good description on how SR achieves the On-demand policy,
automatic steering and loop prevention. But the draft doesn't have any
description on how subscribers can view and manage their dedicated network
resources, or even what kind of network resources are visible/controllable by
subscribers, which are the key components of Network Slicing. For example, can
SR allows a subscriber to specify their traffic not to be shared on link/nodes
with others?

Best regards,
Linda Dunbar
