Hi All,

Thanks to Daniel and Weiqiang for organizing the SRv6 Operations Side Meeting
in IETF118 and we discussed several topics about SRv6 and compressed SRv6
deployments, including interoperability, inter-domain, protection, visibility,
operations and maintenance, etc.

Thanks to all the participants to join the discussion.

The presentation materials for this meeting have been uploaded to Github:

https://github.com/SRv6-Operations/IETF118_SR_Operations_side_meeting

Minutes for discussion:

https://github.com/SRv6-Operations/IETF118_SR_Operations_side_meeting/blob/main/Side%20Meeting%20Minutes

Preliminary conclusions:

1) SRv6 technology is tending mature, and increasing number of operators
globally are deploying SRv6, and more and more operators choose to deploy
compressed SRv6;

2) Many operators are interested in further discussion about SRv6 operations
like: configuration optimization, interworking test among more vendors, etc.

Next steps:

1) Solicit suggestions from relevant WGs on how to continue the discussion of
SRv6 deployment and seeking more feedback;

2) Further technical discussions on the topics collected, including compressed
SRv6 deployment, inter-domain, address planning, etc.

3) Side Meeting or BOF in next IETF.

More people are welcome to join our discussion!

Best Regards

Yisong
