Hi SPRING WG Version 01 of Multipath Traffic Engineering for SR[1] was posted last week. Unfortunately, there is insufficient time in the 124 session to present, providing an update here.
As presented in 123, this draft discusses how to achieve MPTE[2] using SR and a controller/PCE. The updates to -01 includes but not limited to: two new co-authors, additional discussion on object/constructs usage, color mapping and use, DAG reusability, various text on path protection and lastly discussion and examples for local/global optimization of the DAG. Additionally, there are PPT/PDF slides available on Github[3]. Next steps include filling in missing sections and further discussions amongst the co-authors regarding information modelling and consistency with [2] and content to feed to [4].
