While I always appreciate patent disclosures, I am disappointed when a 
disclosure is made for a patent that was filed a while ago and which a document 
author should reasonably have been aware of.

On the other hand, the draft was first posted four years before the patent was 
applied for, so it could be that the ideas were already in the public domain 
before the filing.

By the way, the patent disclosure provides a date of 2026-06-10 which is in the 
future. 
Google shows that the patent was applied for on 2024-06-10 (a coincidence 
indicating a typo?).
But Google also says that the application is "Pending" while the disclosure in 
the Datatracker says 
> Does this disclosure relate to an unpublished pending patent application?:
> Has patent pending    "No"

Given the licensing terms for this patent, I wonder whether we shouldn't look 
carefully to see whether we can find an alternative way of achieving the same 
function without needing to infringe the patent.
