No, just heard from street talk that it's one of fat jack's systems. Realize we're 3 hrs from Phila. I used to work for jack, got fired because "you don't know how to design a sprinkler system" so I find it amusing, despite the bad press. I've had a hand in several deluge systems, not this one, and no false trips I'm aware of. Since we're just starting a large freezer warehouse, I certainly hope Murphy doesn't haunt me now. I'll have to set out a watchdog at the jobsite gate :)
While stages are required to have deluge systems, these two activations in high-profile location (Phila is justifiably proud of its orchestra and its home) might have AHJs and code writers re-think the need for other than wet systems @ 6' o/c. -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Ford, Charles Sent: Thursday, February 01, 2007 11:09 AM To: [email protected] Subject: RE: 6abc.com Kimmel Center Soaked by Sprinklers George, do you have any knowledge of this system?
