Keep in mind that 13 has relaxed its position on bushings in branch
lines to accommodate future modifications - see 8.15.19.2. This is
not limited to installing uprights while we wait for the drop ceiling
to be installed.

These are bushings that were installed by the contractor for
simplicity

Does anyone out there know where I can find the equivalent length of
various bushings that were installed in a system. I know that NFPA 13
does not permit the use of bushings, and that they do not require
additional equivalent length to be added to the calculations for the
bushings, but I would like to include them in our calculation for
peace-of-mind.
