This may be a situation where sprinkler protection is not practical and the occupancy can't be modified to accommodate them. Perhaps an alternative protection approach would have to be taken such as fire-rate the walls, self-close the door and put in a beam or similar type detection system. The glass walls could be a problem (water curtain?). It sounds like you need an FPE to work with the Owner, Architect and AHJ to come up with a solution. (Disclaimer: these are only ideas intended to demonstrate possible alternate solutions. These are not recommendations and have no basis in any code or historical data)

Subject: Racquetball court

Ok guys I need some help. I am trying to find a head that could be used
in a racquetball court. It has to be a sidewall head because to top of
the court is the roof. The court is 20' wide which means I probably need
an extended coverage head. I have talked with Tyco and he had no
suggestions. I know these courts have been around for years so at some
point someone has sprinkled them Any help would be great.
