I recently attended my granddaughter's birthday party, held a local YMCA. The party room was - an unused racquet ball court. This was a traditional birthday party complete with burning candles, piles of discarded wrapping paper, piles of children's coats, and of course much roughhousing and general bedlam. Just because the primary use is a racquet ball court, it might not always be used as such.

As a sidebar, would not recommend there use as party rooms. 20 kids ages 4 - 10 + parents combined with the acoustic properties of racquet ball courts = more noise than I care to deal with ever again.

If you go in almost any health club with these things...they become
closets and flex space all the time. Need to remodel the weight
room...where do you think it goes? Need to have a yoga or pilates
class, courts have lots of room, are well lit and no obstructions. You

get the point.

Sure, the courts out by the lobby will almost never get this treatment.
The last one in the back...if almost always a catch all space.
