I had the same guy once. The building he occupied in the business park
was across the parking lot from an offset records storage guy. The
fear was loosing the customer data since his was a mail order
business. He was able to buy a whole lot of off-site records storage
for the money not spent on some high maintenance pre-action system.

A rain tight cabinet?

I could see the thing costing 100K, they have a T1 and about 20 TB in data
storage plus the stacks of ups's.
I'll price out a preaction system and see how they respond.
I'll also offer a dry head.
I think there's just too much spaghetti wiring to contain it all.

Enclose the server in a cabinet.

I was wondering if I could get recommendations of advice to give a
client.
Their IT guy is bugging them about a head we put in a server closet.
It's just a 6' w x 3' deep closet with their rack and a little ductless
ac unit.
No raised floor, liebert or big ups equipment and certainly not sealed.
I offered high temp head but they're scared about water (wata).
Should I suggest total flooding inergen? Low temp rate of rise heat
detector?
I have to have an exhaust system installed with inergen, right?
I think they'd have to enclose the closet to keep in the gas.

Thanks,
