Way cool and thanks.
I'm ordering 5.
I know the diesel tech puts in additive for mold, gel and fungus, among
others, does the filters and liquids and I check too.
How much, does he calibrate and test, can't get an answer. Probably cheek
to mouth.
Looks like I'll save the day with this one especially if he can put it in
his desk drawer and get back to me.
I do a little, bill a little more and he does the deciding, works for me.

I swear I'm not making a joke: How do you test diesel fuel? Get a
diesel fuel test kit of course.

This is one of many vendors; water in the fuel, bacteria, fungus,
degradation ... these aren't unique to diesel fire pump drivers. If
you search the web you'll find labs that do more comprehensive
diagnostics as well.

Can anyone give me some advice on getting fuel tested?
I have a request from a client to take a sample and have it tested.
What do I test it for? I suggested having the 10 yr. old supply
reclaimed
and replaced but he wants it tested.
Is there protocol or an NFPA recommended procedure?
I have a call into the local diesel mechanics that do the pumps and
generators.
It's on Harvard's campus grounds so I'm sure every EPA regulation and
then
some applies.

Thanks in advance,
