Back before Hose Monsters, I'd had a nice header fabbed that came out the pumphouse wall, 90'd, then ran along the wall in pipe with a series of 2.5" w-o-l's at about 9" o/c, screwed 2.5" angle hose valves into it- Whole affair was oriented so playpipes could be attached and the pump test run right from this header sans hose. Set up walkway (gravel) and elevations so one could walk between without getting in line of fire and take pitots readily. Made a heckuva rainbow with all open. Packing up was 10 minutes and gone. <FM> job
