Jimmy,

Better look at Tyco's data sheets again. Based on what I just saw on their website, in TD610, it suggests that both the BB-1 and the AP attic sprinklers have listings that start at 3:12. Refer to table A on page 7. PARSLEY CONSULTING

Jimmy,

The area trump the layout. You need to design to the 2535 area,
regardless of the system arrangements, unless Attic Sprinklers are
used. Have you looked into this option?

Good Morning all, I have a question that I need some assistance with. I am
working on a dry system covering an attic over a middle school. The attic
is cold and has a pitch of 3 in 12. This project has several separate and
remote attic spaces. The space I'm asking about, is rather narrow, but
long. There are only two branchlines in the attic, but there are 17 heads
on a branchline. I want to add a second cross main, cutting the brachlines
in half. When I do this my remote area does not meet the necessary square
footage (2535), but it does meet the required number of heads on a
branchline. So, do I then add heads feed from the second cross main to my
calc to meet the square footage? Or would calcing all the heads on one
cross main satisfy the intent of 13? I'm leaning towards adding heads to
be
on the safe side, but what does 13 say to do when you don't have enough
heads feed from a single cross main to satisfy your remote area?

Thanks to all in advance
