We just had this done on many of our sprinkler systems. The contractor
used a Roboprobe video recorder and camera. The camera will fit down a 1
1/4-inch pipe unless the pipe was not reamed. For larger pipe there are
centering devices, but were doing the smaller branch lines and cross mains.
Many of our systems are from the 40s and 60s and the problem is the camera
gets coated with the sludge in the pipe. To view the pipe we first had to
flush the pipe in most cases.

Does anyone use flexible cameras to inspect sprinkler pipe? If so, what
brand do you use? Any pros/cons with it? Is there a web link for the
camera? Are there different cameras for underground versus overhead
piping?
