This is a rack system about 18 ft high with 8 ft aisles. Installation
would not be any more of a problem than usual.

An automatic retrieval rack system with very narrow aisles was installed
this way in Solon Ohio about 20 tears ago in a distribution warehouse.
Racks were assembled on the ground laying on there side about 35 ft. high
and sections of rack sprinklers were installed. The racks were lifted
upright and sections coupled together. Because of the narrow aisles it was
the best way to do it.

Subject: pre-installed in-rack sprinklers?
I got a call from a client this morning who got a proposal for new
racks from a supplier, which included the in-rack sprinklers. The
company was Systematics. Has anyone run into this? It sounds like
more trouble than it is worth.
