I have single story building in which the attic area is noncombustible but the attic contains a three foot wide combustible walkway for access to non-flame producing A/C equipment. It seems that in some standard/code I can be allowed to install sprinklers only over this walkway. My memory is failing over time so I cannot remember where this is or even if I dreamed it. Will someone please help me out here?
