Well clarification is needed in this discussion. Ethyl glycol should never be 
used even if the system has a rpz. From the purveyors view it is a higher 
hazard than non-toxic types of anti-freeze. 
It is possible for an rpz to fail and only an air gap seperation can prevent 
contamination.

You can put in anything you like from the water purveyors view but  
someone proposed to 13 that the restriction on antifreeze be removed  
since it all requires an RPZ. I never expected it to pass but was in a  
curious mood as to how conservative the TC might be feeling.   It  
floated like a lead balloon.
