Subject: RE: rated wall opening

Rated partition and rated wall assemblies are different in construction, but
in either case has anyone seen any calcs proving equivalency of a sprinkler
or sprinklers to a UL listed rated assembly?

sound like a fire wall (which presents a much greater concern regarding
integrity etc.). I'd proceed carefully.
