Absolutely not. Pipe sizes should be shown per NFPA. Look in the index 
under working Drawings. There is a list of requirements, then show that 
to the Plan Reviewer. How else can he verify hydraulic Calcs?

I have a plan checker that is requiring a ceiling plan that shows 
sprinklers
only, no pipe. I've heard rumors that this is required in NFPA #13 
2002, but
I cannot find it. Is this required on working drawings?
