What I meant was the Delta flow from the most demanding head was 1.25gpm.The
actual flow from the head was 8.68gpm and the required flow was 7.43gpm which
was a delta flow of 1.25gpm. My HydraCalc program refers to it as Delta Flow (
past experience I heard it being referred to as overage, would that be the
correct term? I had a pressure of 170psi so my only concern was keeping the
flow down for the meter size.

Thanks,

George Medina Jr.

1.5Gpm from a 2.8K is less than 1 Psi, you'd still need to meet the 7 Psi
min. head pressure so even 2.8K heads would flow 7.41 Gpm+.

My preliminary calculations worked out good with the delta flow not
exceeding more than 1.5gpm using 2.8k heads covering 74 sq ft each
