Two thoughts..
You're filling through the fast fill right? After it gets to approximate
shutoff pressure you switch over?
I wish I has stock in Furnas. Check the pilot line with the pin and lever
off the side, if that leaks you're screwed I think. I've spent hours on
these switches before just replacing them. How's the relief and regulator
on the maintenance device? It sounds like your leaking someplace, you have
to isolate it and find where.

I have a Viking dry pipe system, with a Viking D2 air maintenance device.
The air compressor is an EmGlow with a Furnas 69HAU3 pressure switch. I
am unable to get the air past 26 PSI, which means the monitoring company
reports a dry system trouble.

My first step was to adjust the pressure switch, no difference. The Furnas
69HAU3 switch has a differential max of 6 - 16 PSI. The cut-in is 30 PSI and
the cut-out is 40 PSI, which should work with a water pressure of 120 to 130
PSI.

I get my DeWalt air compressor out of the van and plumb it in. I set the
cut out to 40 PSI. No change in the air pressure. I set the cut-out to 50
PSI, no change in air pressure.

I adjusted the D2 regulator. I get the air pressure to 30 PSI by
opening the by-pass valve. I have no trouble on the Silent Knight panel.

We tested the valve last month, every thing was OK
There is no accelerator.
The sprinkler valves are in the pool room, and they use liquid chlorine for
the pool. That means there is chlorine gas and the resultant corrosion.

Now, do I replace the pressure switch &/or the pressure regulator?
