We did 14 DMR funded group residences that we've been testing for 6 years now 2 summers ago. Come to find out, some slickster notified them of the recall, got them to fund the cost of replacing them to him up front being assured tyco would reimburse them and ran with the money. Really nice. We did it for cost for them (although with a nice deduct/charitable tax deductible credit/change order). The guys still in business, alone by himself but just as George says; hardly ever leaves his Escalade. I still see polybutylene btw, and plenty of omegas just last week in an elderly high rise in Quincy. Crazy.
This would likely drive more work to the inspectors that don't get out of their vehicles. You can put the system in place to effect what you desire- and people WILL find a way to defeat it or work around it. _______________________________________________ Sprinklerforum mailing list [email protected] http://fireball.firesprinkler.org/mailman/listinfo/sprinklerforum For Technical Assistance, send an email to: [email protected] To Unsubscribe, send an email to:[email protected] (Put the word unsubscribe in the subject field)
