If we do a periodic inspection, we do all tasks for that and lesser periods.
If you can contract for less- and feel comfortable and justified in doing
so- go for it.

But if I took my car in for over-due service, and they did the 50,000 mi
check and maintenance, but ignored the 25,000 mile items, I'd be PO'd when
my car broke down and it was something I'd assumed they were doing.

But in our work, instead of a new engine or a tow bill, we're generally
addressing frozeNbroke damage, fire damage, or loss of life. I'd rather buy
a new engine anyday.

It depends on what you are contracted to do.

On the NFSA and AFSA Inspection forms, the form guides you to perform all of
the items (weekly, monthly, semi-annual and annual).

I do whatever the form says.

Subject: Annual Report of Wet Sprinkler System

When conducting an annual inspection, are we required to conduct all monthly
and quarterly items as well? I remembered reading it somewhere, and just
located where I think it may have been. It is under the form descriptions on
the top left of the examples provided in Annex B for quarterly and annual.
The monthly report list it contains all weekly items. I cannot find these
same statements in the body of the standard, thus the question. One could
argue that we are doing an annual the others are the owner's responsibility.
I include them with mine.
