You have to fake the density in some of the computer calcs using the flow
required from the k and start pressure given then divide by the actual
sq.ft.

Subject: ESFR Heads in Calc's

Forum,
I don't have allot of experience dealing with ESFR heads and am doing some
calc's for a warehouse we are designing. The question I have is where do I
get the density for these heads to plug into the calc's. For this particular
job I am using Table 16.2.3.1 on page 150 (07 edition) Max. storage = 25
ft'., max. ceiling = 40 ft'. I'm using a Viking VK510 (k25.2) head. Any help
would be greatly appreciated.

Regards,
