To my knowledge no Viking head was ever made with an O-ring. Also, heads with O-rings at the seat were not the problem. Those with O-rings in the waterway are the type that cause issues. And yes, there are other manufacturers with waterway O-rings but I'd rather not say who since that might imply they have issues and I have no knowledge of that.
