We ran across an Omaha company that uses these by default for all projects.
They claimed having to adjust any one room due to its ceiling not going in
as they figured justified using them. They installed the fitting and
its sprinkler at the same time on a conventional piping layout. They used
the shorter length fittings. We have also seen the longest length version
used in piping schemes where one larger size branch line serves what would
have typically been piped as two smaller size branch lines. Seeing that is
not unlike seeing a non-typical antler layout. We also see the Aquaflex
version in tight ceiling condition remodel projects where it is much easier
to attach that type versus having to spin a Flexhead.
