1) Any experience with the condition of the inside wall of steel pipe in multi-floor buildings, specifically, a difference between the pipe in the lowest and highest floors? Was there a pump-no pump? Any thinking back, thoughts or theories you have will be greatly appreciated.
2) I am worried about the 'or equivalent' part of drum drips in 13, but I do not have access to a shop. Will someone test a 1x4-0 against the 2x1-0 shown in 13? It could be that 1x0-6 at the bottom works but 1x1-6 does not, due to some kind of reverse capillarity when the length exeeds 10 times the diameter or something. If 1" does not work all the way up, 13 should be changed to something like Minimum Diameter = 2", Minimum Capacity = .174 gallons. 3) Send me a whiff of cutting oil- I have not had one for 8 years and I miss it.
