8.4.7 is all related to Large Drop sprinklers. You can't make it say it's
required on any type of dry system because it doesn't. Who is saying that
Galvanized is a requirement?

Subject: Galvanized Pipe

8.4.7.2.1. (2007) Calls for steel pipe used in Dry Pipe and Pre-action
systems to be internally galvanized, the handbook adds additional
information saying this only applies to systems with Large Drop sprinklers.
How can I use this "added text" to explain to an AHJ that says NFPA requires
galvanized pipe for any type of a dry system?
