This is an email I actually received today. I replied to his boss and told em
it’s a dinky $12,000 job, life's too short. And another of these, I'll forward
to the client- since they love us.
Funnier- the 55 gpm domestic came the day before from his boss!

You need to get something straight, my friend: the domestic demand is NOT 55
GPM. I repeat: the domestic demand is not 55 GPM. I don’t know where you are
getting that number, but it’s wrong. Do you understand? I am the P.E. I am
the Engineer of Record on this project. I decide what the domestic water
demand is, nobody else. You will know what the domestic demand is when I tell
you, and not before.

Another thing: yes, I understand that PSI varies with K-factor and coverage
area. What I’m asking you is the following:

 what GPM do you require?

 what PSI do you require at the Base of Riser?

Call me.
