You can use reverse polish notation (RPN) if desired, but you can toggle to algebraic (which I prefer). I can see why some like RPN...you can save a lot of key punches.

Maybe has more function than needed, but I like it. Reed A. Roisum, CET Ulteig Engineers, Inc. 3350 38th Avenue S. Fortunately I only have to pass advanced hydraulics so I'm looking for a nicet approved calculator able to make entry of friction loss formulas a little more efficient. Does anyone have any recommendations? Preferably something that can store most, if not all, of the formula to where you only have to enter in the variables; that would be nice as I'm going to need all the time I can get on this. I was always saving advanced hydraulics for last so I never took it. Now I wish I did seeing how I'm only going to get one shot at it. BTW, the list of approved calculators is at: http://www.nicet.org/candidates/allowable_calculators.pdf Best Regards, Brian _______________________________________________ Sprinklerforum mailing list Sprinklerforum@firesprinkler.org http://fireball.firesprinkler.org/mailman/listinfo/sprinklerforum For Technical Assistance, send an email to: supp...@firesprinkler.org To Unsubscribe, send an email to:sprinklerforum-requ...@firesprinkler.org (Put the word unsubscribe in the subject field) _______________________________________________ Sprinklerforum mailing list Sprinklerforum@firesprinkler.org http://fireball.firesprinkler.org/mailman/listinfo/sprinklerforum For Technical Assistance, send an email to: supp...@firesprinkler.org To Unsubscribe, send an email to:sprinklerforum-requ...@firesprinkler.org (Put the word unsubscribe in the subject field) _______________________________________________ Sprinklerforum mailing list Sprinklerforum@firesprinkler.org http://fireball.firesprinkler.org/mailman/listinfo/sprinklerforum For Technical Assistance, send an email to: supp...@firesprinkler.org To Unsubscribe, send an email to:sprinklerforum-requ...@firesprinkler.org (Put the word unsubscribe in the subject field) _______________________________________________ Sprinklerforum mailing list Sprinklerforum@firesprinkler.org http://fireball.firesprinkler.org/mailman/listinfo/sprinklerforum For Technical Assistance, send an email to: supp...@firesprinkler.org To Unsubscribe, send an email to:sprinklerforum-requ...@firesprinkler.org (Put the word unsubscribe in the subject field)
