I would think greywater standards would be acceptable. . . as it can be used 
for irrigation, toilet flushing and washing machines. However, it's hard to 
define what greywater is. There seems to be different levels of processing 
depending on the intended use  . . . seems to be a gray area (pun intended.)

I have a client that would like to use waste process water to supply a
sprinkler system.  Where would I find information regarding acceptable
levels for pH, total hardness, suspended solids, dissolved solids, etc. for
water that supplies a sprinkler system? (In reading NFPA 13-2007 Art.
8.16.4.2.1 and 23.1.5, it appears that such concerns need not be addressed.)
