Looking at the archives, it appears that grv fittings and cplgs cannot be used for UG applications unless specifically listed for such use. It also seems like no one makes them that are both listed for UG and fire protection use.
I need to run 6in for a free standing fire pump test header out and need the have the ability to field cut the pipe to fit. We cannot thread 6in in our shop so should I go to a uniflange / flange ell configuration?
