I'm new in using NFPA 13 and I would appreciate your
help for the following matter:

For class IV rack storage according to NFPA 13 I have
two options to design my sprinkler system:
-control mode density area
-large drop sprinklers and specific application
control and mode sprinklers.

According to table 16.2.1.3.2 I have to use fig
16.2.1.3.2(d) curve E. For me to reach sprinkler density I must use ELO
sprinkler K 11.2.

My question is: can I still use control mode density
or do I have to use large drop application, because according to table
16.2.2.1 for K 11.2 sprinkler the minimum sprinkler operating pressure is 3.5
bar for class IV.

This is an existing system and the pump can't deliver
that much pressure.

Thank you.
