In an effort to remove anti-freeze from an apartment complex I am considering a
dry pipe system to protect the balconies (the only areas that cannot be easily
protected by a wet system).

Has there been any discussion about whether or not sprinklers that protect the
balcony are part of the 'dwelling unit' portion of the occupancy and therefore
must meet a 15 second water delivery? I assume that they are, but it would be
nice to have an extra 45 seconds (or 500 gallons) to get the water there.

Any thoughts?
