I Know this has been through the forum before but I would like some fresh opinions on the best combined sprinkler design & hydraulics package. In particular I would be interested in opinions of their 3D/ BIM Approaches i.e. HydraCAD draw in 2D & convert Vs AutoSprink 3D Native.
I am based in Europe so would be using metric units and we have slightly different requirement when it comes to hydraulic Calcs. At the moment I am using standalone AutoCAD & Hydraulics packages but am finding myself spending more time updating both drawing and calcs file as clients drawings develop and have a knock on effect.
