I have searched the forum archives..and informal interps... I have always thought that brass pipe was acceptable in sprinkler systems. In the 2013 edition of NFPA #13 it is expressly permitted in 6.3.6. I can't find any reference in the 2010 edition and the AHJ is going by 2010.
Can anyone help me document that brass was or was not acceptable in 2010?
