NFPA 13, 2013 edition 6.2.1.1 When a sprinkler has been removed for any reason, it shall not be reinstalled.
This particular text is new, but it's really just meant as a clarification for the existing 6.2.1 which states only new sprinklers shall be installed which I believe has been in the standard for several editions.
