I would hazard a guess at no, it's not acceptable. But can't cite anything. I'll be interested in seeing what the consensus is.
If it was a existing wall with an existing sprinkler buried in it, I could see, perhaps, letting it stay. But that the GC knew full well the sprinkler was there and still buried it in it is negligence. And wouldn't be allowed in my opinion. Sent from my iPhone Aaron M.
