Forum,

Hey, I'm looking at a project where I'm providing the arrangement to be able
to do a backflow forward flow test. The sprinkler system is a dry and I was
going to combine it with the FDC piping. But with looking at it and thinking
about it I don't think I can, I'll have to provide a separate flow test pipe
to the exterior instead of just one. Because the pressure during the test on
the FDC check valve may be enough to open it and allow water into the
system.

Has anyone done or seen it with a dry system? It's a minor addition so no
problem just an extra hole through the wall. Just curious. Thanks!
