We have a dentist office project that does not have a sprinkler system in
it. The plumber has provided us with a 1” rpz to connect 1 head to cover
the gas cylinder storage room. Probably 6’x2’. They came off of a ¾”
domestic line. We created a set of plans showing the work but has been
rejected. Notes said to provide calcs, show riser diagram and domestic
demand. The contractor is telling me they are already over on their
domestic demand for the size line they have. Should I use their domestic
demand or follow the demand layed out in 13R. Has anybody run across this
situation before?
