Is it an Exit Corridor?
Are the walls 50% open or the area?

I don't think so, the ceiling is exposed concrete deck This is actually an
entry into bathrooms on a first floor. But I also have entryways into hallways
in the same fashion.

If I'm getting the description right it seems more like this is an exterior
space with an eave or overhang which would be governed by 8.15.1.2.18?

I'm looking at NFPA 13-8-15.7.4 (2013) Sprinkler can be omitted from exterior
exit corridors when the exterior walls are at least 50% open.

My question is I have an inset entry with solid non-combustible walls/doors on
3 sides and open on the 4 wall. Would this situation allow me to omit sprinkler
per the above stated code?
