For steel, NFPA uses weight density of 490 lbs/ft^3, and for water, 62.4.
Figure the area (ft^2) based on the O.D., minus the area based on the I.D.
(ft^2) times 490 is the weight of the steel per foot. Add the weight of the
water per foot, which is the area based on I.D., times 62.4.
Ex--- 2.5" Sch07 I get 4.693 lb/ft.
((2.875/24)^2)*PI=~.0044 ft^2.
((2.731/24)^2)*PI=~.0407 ft^2.

Thanks, I had found this one but noticed that some of the numbers are lower
that the sch 5 chart in NFPA 13, would have thought they would be somewhere
in the middle due to the thicker wall on sch 7 pipe.
