And there we have it. A single expert is supplied with more accurate information and judgment than they probably (and surely more accurate than I could do solely) do alone. Crowdsourcing works. Especially when the crowd is smart.
But society and juries still put too much emphasis on single expertise, which can be unduly influenced by legal tender or reputation preservation.
