I have a question about protecting a garage that is open on one side. The situation I have is that there is a huge PT beam at the open edge, 4’-0” thick by 4’-0” deep (from the bottom of the deck). Do I need to space the sprinklers so that they spray under that beam? If it makes a difference at all, the bottom of deck elevation is approximately 29’-0".
