Steve -------- Original message -------- From: [email protected]<mailto:[email protected]> Date: 6/30/16 7:44 AM (GMT-08:00) To: [email protected]<mailto:[email protected]> Subject: Pre 1960 pipe schedule dry sprinkler system I have a warehouse being converted into a product handling area (S-2 going to F-1 occupancy) The warehouse is sprinklered using a Suprotex dry system and I'm told it was designed using "pre 1960 pipe schedule system". There are no as-builts, (I guess the stone tablets broke), and there are no riser tags or any information on the design of the systems whatsoever. Two systems were installed in 1962 and one system in 1954. Prior to 1960 were pipe schedule systems broken into LH, OH and EX as the Standard now shows or was it something else? Any change in design for dry systems? Was NPFA 13 the governing Standard or some other for storage occupancies? Craig L.
