Table 16.5.2.1 for non-relieving style containers for 5-60 gal containers on single and double row racks to 20'-0" So we are using 0.40/3000 plus in-racks based on layout E Layout E shall mean one line of in-rack sprinklers in the flue space at every level beginning above the first storage level above the floor and face sprinklers at the first storage level at each upright. In-racks sprinklers shall be spaced not more than 9 ft on centre and shall be staggered vertically. As this option is for single and double row racks, I am unsure about the layout for the single row racks as we normally do not see face sprinklers on single row racks.
