Inspectors Test Discharge

We have a customer that has 40 existing systems and wants to re-pipe all 
of his inspectors test valves.  However, he wants to use either PVC or 
CPVC piping for the discharge piping.  Since this pipe is normally dry 
and not subject to system pressure, does anyone have an "expert" opinion 
on this?
