We're installing a system in a self-storage facility and there are "half units" which, as the name suggests is a unit cut into two units, a top unit and bottom unit. The top unit is open to the overhead sprinkler system. The bottom unit is only 4' high. We're thinking that there is no exception to providing sprinkler coverage in this unit though the storage height would be limited to <2'-6". Any thoughts? Has anyone seen a similar set up?
