I use a Surface pro 3, not a high end one. And I do markups on Bluebeam. Love it. My only complaint is since they updated the battery saver feature, I sometimes run out of battery. I have to make sure I only run necessary apps, flight mode on and run with screen brightness at 25% to get it to last a whole day.

Has anyone been using iPads or other tablets in the field for survey or plan notations? I have seen FM Global reps and GCs using them for sketching and was wondering if it would be an advantage for me. I need to upgrade mine and was wondering if I should set up for that.
